Since childhood, I have loved nature, such as flowers and rocks.
In the second year of junior high school, I learned about the Snowball Earth and became interested in the history of the Earth and that rocks record the history.
There was an oxygen-depleted ocean in the past, which was completely different from the present-day one. Various industrially critical metals are concentrated in the black shales deposited there. I am trying to find out what kind of mechanisms are controlling the accumulation and what kind of environmental changes are linked to them.
My hobby is ballet (dancing and watching). Both the Earth and performing arts are complex systems. I would like to find my own answers little by little.
