Cendi Dana is a Researcher at the Ocean Resources Research Center for Next Generation, Chiba Institute of Technology. He is an economic geologist specializing in geochemistry, geochronology, and stable isotope geochemistry, with research interests spanning mineral resources, ore-forming processes, and hydrothermal systems.

His research integrates mineral chemistry, isotopic systems, and geochronology to investigate the formation and evolution of hydrothermal ore deposits and to develop geochemical approaches for mineral exploration. His current research encompasses a range of mineral systems, including seafloor massive sulfides, epithermal deposits, and metamorphosed VMS deposits, with particular emphasis on geochronology and isotope geochemistry. He also has industry experience as an exploration geologist, working on skarn and epithermal deposits, providing a strong connection between academic research and practical mineral exploration.
